Proud to announce VHS Volleyball Player Gigi Scaglia has been named the 2026 VHS Female Athlete of the year. 

Gigi's work ethic on and off the courts has been exemplary.  She has been a model student-athlete and a leader on both her indoor and beach teams.  As a four-year Varsity starter on the beach, Gigi has brought her best to the sand every day! 

Her story is one of perseverance, with an injury forcing Gigi away from the sport in her junior year, only to develop new tools and come back stronger.   

Gigi is a vested learner who knows the value of unity and that support works both ways.

Gigi is headed to LMU next year to play for the Nationally Ranked Beach Volleyball Lions and Legendary Coach John Mayer.
